Hi, I’m Summer! I started my fitness journey as a dancer. From the age of 3, movement was my world — attending a Performing Arts Boarding High School and later graduating with a BFA in Dance Performance. But with the intense focus on perfection and appearance, I developed unhealthy habits and a complicated relationship with food and my body. Years of pushing myself beyond limits, feeling trapped in cycles of extremes, and ignoring my mental health led to burnout. It was through that struggle I realized true transformation isn’t just about what your body can do — it’s about how your mind and body work together. I’ve learned that lasting change comes from a holistic approach: combining strength training, movement, mindset, and balanced nutrition. That’s why I’m here — to help women build a stronger, healthier relationship with both their mind and body. It’s not about chasing a “perfect” body or fitting into a mold; it’s about feeling strong, empowered, and connected to your authentic self. I believe in the power of daily movement. It’s not always about intensity or performance; it’s about building a habit that grounds you, clears your mind, and simply moving your body. Whether it’s strength training, stretching, or going for a walk, every form of movement matters. My training philosophy is rooted in progressive overload, intentional movement, and proper form — creating sustainable habits and results you can actually feel: more energy, more confidence, and more trust in your body. I also believe in fueling the body with intention — using the power of knowledge to support aligned and sustainable nutrition. That means understanding what’s in your food: reading ingredient labels, being mindful of sources, and using tools like macro tracking when it supports your goals. Knowing what you’re putting into your body unlocks the ability to fuel it in a way that feels supportive, not restrictive. Through the BODY by Summer app, my goal is to help you make sustainable changes that last a lifetime. True transformation isn’t just physical; it begins in the mind.
